Turning Ordinary Days into Extraordinary Adventures!

fly2help is an exciting charity that lifts peoples horizons via the medium of flight; working with individuals, groups and like-minded charities to stretch physical, mental and emotional boundaries that have been set by a life trauma or tragedy. Our core focus is disadvantaged youngsters for whom we aim to inspire imagination, determination, self-esteem and confidence.

fly2help is committed to supporting anyone who could benefit, regardless of age or circumstance, typically supporting the terminally ill, chronically sick and bereaved. In addition, there are those who simply need a life boost; including those who have suffered extreme neglect and abuse, and those who face exclusion from society on a regular basis as a result of mental ill-health, sickness, disability, injury or financial deprivation.

Youngsters and their families/carers, are given an opportunity to visit fly2help at Kemble Airport, where amongst other activities they will enjoy the freedom and power of flight, whilst reaching for the skies over our beautiful Cotswold countryside. Each beneficiary receives their own bespoke event day, tailored to cater for the individual physical, emotional and psychological needs, whilst ensuring VIP treatment all-round.

Central to the beliefs of fly2help is that offering an exhilarating flight and enabling someone to reach for the skies, gives them the chance to see the world from a whole new perspective, leaving their worries on the ground, both literally and metaphorically. For someone less-advantaged, just being able to wake one morning with a sense of achievement or excitement, rather than disappointment, can be an enormous step towards recovery. Our goal is to share blue skies, adventures and smiles; creating precious memories for those, who need them most. A professional photographer is provided for every event, to ensure that the memory of such a positive, life-enhancing experience can be cherished forever

As well as the family ‘respite day’ projects, fly2help’s educational wing also works to encourage youngsters to reach their full potential through educational programmes run in partnership with schools or community groups. fly2help also partners Kemble Airport in providing annual Aviation Scholarships; fostering and mentoring those who have a thirst for an aerospace career.
